Intelligence Sub-Committee. 6. (a) To discuss the question of personnel for the Centre and to report progress made in nominating them. The suggested establishment for officers and clerks is given in Appendix I of the Charter. (b) To agree to Lt. Colonel W.J. Cawthorn, Indian Army, as first Head of the Centre. 7. To fix a date by which the Centre should start work and from which appointments should be dated. 1st August, 1939, is provisionally suggested. 8. To discuss broadly the question of the Centre's sources of information and arrangements with the Foreign Office, Colonial Office and India Office for information from civil sources to be repeated to the Centre.
