431 (vi) that the representatives of Departments should then jointly in the Air Ministry examine the intelligence in which they are jointly concerned and draft relevant sections of the required report for consideration by the Joint Intelligence Committee. 3. By adopting the above procedure it is considered that there will be the minimum duplication of work and that each Department will be able to produce all the evidence at its disposal in the shortest time. The work of the officers who are already investigating this subject must necessarily be increased and it may result in some increase in staff but under the procedure proposed it is thought that the laborious work of going through in detail every piece of information received by all Departments will be, in general, unnecessary.
