Details of Numbers and Policy of Employment of Anti-Aircraft Guns and Searchlights in Germany. Letter Covering Memorandum from the D.M.O.I. War Office

1 Jun 1936

173 ANNEX TO ENCLOSURE. DETAILS OF NUMBERS AND POLICY OF EMPLOYMENT OF ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUNS AND SEARCHLIGHTS IN GERMANY. The German Air Force is responsible for the antiaircraft defence both of the home country and of the zone of the armies. It is believed that in both these cases anti-aircraft defence is primarily carried out by special anti-aircraft regiments. In the case of home defence, however, these anti-aircraft regiments, which as far as we know are mobile units, are supplemented by certain static anti-aircraft units.
