A general discussion followed, as a result of which it was agreed that, if the proposals in the Memorandum under consideration were finally sanctioned, the question of including a representative of the Industrial Intelligence Centre in the re-constituted Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee should be considered by that body at a later date. It was also agreed that, in the meanwhile, the present system by which the Industrial Intelligence Centre receives all papers and is represented at the meetings of the Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee, should be continued and that in addition the Industrial Intelligence Centre should be asked to send a representative to attend the Situation Report Centre meetings at which the daily and weekly reports are prepared, as an experiment.
