Paragraph 3. With regard to the reserves which Poland may hold, MAJOR KIRKMAN said that the latest reports from our Military Attachés in Poland appeared to indicate that Poland was in possession of considerably greater reserves of raw materials than we had thought in the past. Whereas recently it had been estimated that Poland held reserves which would be sufficient for a maximum of 3 months of war, now the Military Attaché reported that these reserves had been considerably increased and might be sufficient for a period of from 3 to 6 months of war.
