ANGLO-FRENCH STAFF CONVERSATIONS, 1939. (Paper No. J.I.C. 96). THE SUB-COMMITTEE had before them a Note by the Secretary inviting them to prepare, in accordance with Conclusion (6) of the Strategical Appreciation Sub-Committee's 6th Meeting on the 17th April, 1939, a Paper for issue to the French Delegation on the subject of the exchange of information. The Sub-Committee discussed the problem generally and reached the following conclusions:CONCLUSIONS. (a) That each Service should submit a short note on the existing situation and their proposals for future discussions to the Secretary.
