A file of correspondence concerning the planning and funding of Special Operations Executive (SOE) operations. Subjects covered in the file include plans for the creation of sabotage organisations in ex-Russian occupied Poland to hinder the German offensive against Russia, with the aim of preparing a full-scale Polish uprising; the financing of these operations, shared between the British and Polish governments; the acquisition of US dollars and Reichsmark for use in Poland; and proposals to the US government to exchange stocks of sterling and US dollars for the use of intelligence services, which were ultimately rejected by the Americans.
