Before leaving Berne, the French Embassy there, gave me a number of letters of introduction, warmly recommending me to the highest Occupation Government Officials at BadenBaden, and to people here like the Military Governor. In Baden-Baden I was received by the Heads of the Government including M. Laffont, the Minister directing the Government, and also M.
