RESTRICTED. (b) in the ease of intelligence required from Germany and from ex-enemy countries still under Allied control, to arrange in conjunction with sponsoring departments for such intelligence to be obtained either by the despatch of investigating teams or by other suitable means; (c) in the case of intelligence required from Japan, to forward co-ordinated requests to the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers through the British Staff Mission, Tokyo, for such action as may be considered necessary by the authorities on the spot; (d) to arrange for the co-ordination and, where necessary, the publication of all reports and documents obtained as a result of investigations conducted by BIOS or other agencies in Germany and Japan, and to ensure that such reports and documents shall receive the widest possible dissemination within the limits imposed by interest and security; (e) to maintain, in as complete a form as possible, a library or libraries of all the intelligence obtained by the means stated above, and to make such a library or libraries available for reference by all properly accredited agencies and individuals, subject always to limitations imposed by current security policy; (f) to ensure the maximum possible exchange of intelligence with the U.S.
