TOP SECRET [J.I.C./1098/46.] The Joint Secretaries, Deputy Chiefs of Staff Committee. INFORMAL COMMONWEALTH CONFERENCE ON DEFENCE SCIENCE Now that the Defence Committee has given approval to the Report and recommendationsx of the above Conference, there are two aspects to which the Joint Intelligence SubCommittee wish to draw the attention of the Deputy Chiefs of Staff Committee. The proposed Commonwealth Advisory Committee and its Working Party in the United Kingdom will both require a service of intelligence on foreign scientific and technical developments.
