Closing down of the I.S.T.D.

I propose to sort out and return to the relevant departments any records deemed to of interest to that department. All records of historical interest I propose to collect together and eventually house in an Admiralty respository. If time permits I shall endeavour to complete the I.S.T.D. History which at the moment does not go beyond 1943. I suggest that any future correspondence in connection with I.S.T.D. be addressed to N.I.D. Registry.
