The Security Service is anxious to obtain certain technical information from foreign countries, particularly Russia, France and Spain, which it is thought the J.T.I.C. may have means of acquiring or to which it may already have access. This information comes under the following heads:(1) State for development of highly portable shortwave, short-range radio transmission and receivers of the kind carried by one man in the field for communication during actual operations.
