You are appointed Head of Security Intelligence Far East, short title H/SIFE. In this capacity you are responsible to the Director General of the Security Service with the principal duty of ensuring that the Security Intelligence Far East Charter is carried out efficiently. 2. You are also "theatre head" of the Security Service in the Far East. In this capacity you will co-ordinate and supervise the work of the representatives of the Security Service in Burma, the Malayan Union and Hong Kong.
