ANNEX "B" COPY J.I.C./D. The Secretary, Joint Intelligence Sub-Committee INFORMATION FROM JAPAN AND JAPANESE OCCUPIED TERRITORIES Reference J.I.C.1148/45, dated 14th August, 1945. The Security Service view is that they will require all available information which can be obtained on the Japanese espionage service, its organisation, methods and the degree of its success or failure. No doubt any British Combined Intelligence organisation located in the Far East will be anxious to obtain similar information from Japan.
