(e) I.S. (O) would be responsible for detailed intelligence if any further forces for the Mediterranean theatre were to be mounted in the U.K. (f) The production of I.S.I.S. books for the Western Mediterranean areas is, at the request of A.F.H.Q., the responsibility of I.S.T.D. (g) Insufficient information is available of the "set-up" of A.F.H.Q., and in particular of the function and scope of its "I" machinery the division of responsibility between U.K. and A.F.H.Q. is not sufficiently clear. (h) Co-operation with American Staff Officers at A.F.H.Q.
