American Intelligence in India

MOST SECRET which has three entities at present: (a) Independent Dutch intelligence. (b) Dutch intelligence controlled by General MacArthur. (c) Dutch intelligence acting on behalf of O.S.S. I feel here also there are possibilities of future trouble which should be examined and included in any study of the general problem of intelligence in the Indian theatre. (iii) It is of considerably greater importance for us to join with the Americans in some combined intelligence organisation for the Pacific theatre than it is for them to join with us in India.
