MOST SECRET FUTURE INTELLIGENCE REQUIREMENTS F.P.S./43/M.72 from the Future Planning Staff to the Secretary of the J.I.C., and the report of I.S.(O) dated 10th July to the Secretary, confirms our known lack of Intelligence regarding the Far East. 2. Planning for HUSKY revealed a similar state of affairs regarding that territory and we now find ourselves also deficient in intelligence on the mainland of Italy, on Greece, the Balkans and on other areas in the European theatre where we may attack in the near future.
