SECRET 2. ANTI-SOVIET COMMUNISM (Previous reference: J.I.C.(52)1st Meeting, Minute 1) THE COMMITTEE considered a paperø on Anti-Soviet Communism which had been agreed between the Foreign Office and M.I.6, and approved by the Russia Committee. In discussion THE COMMITTEE endorsed the paper, subject to the following amendments to Paragraph 15:Line 5 For "Trotskyist" substitute "dissident" Delete last two sentences THE COMMITTEE:(1) Invited the Chairman to obtain the agreement of the Russia Committee to the above amendments to the paper.ø (2) Instructed the Secretary, when this agreement had been obtained, to issue the paper as a Joint Intelligence Committee memorandum, and to forward copies of it to the Joint Intelligence Committees, Middle East, Far East and Germany.
