CONFIDENTIAL 4. INTERROGATION LIEUT-COLONEL CARNE THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute by the Secretary+ covering a letter from the War Office concerning their proposals for the official interrogation of Colonel Carne on his return to the United Kingdom. MAJOR GENERAL BOUCHER explained the arrangements which had been made for Colonel Carne's reception in the U.K. MR. YOUNG offered to provide 3 medical representative from the Directorate of Scientific Intelligence to assist in the interrogation.
