THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute by the Secretary⊕ referring to telegrams* from the U.K. Representative on the standing Group Security Committee, asking for the Joint Intelligence Committee's reactions to American proposals to release all classified information to the E.D.C. by means of the SPHERIC system only. LORD TALBOT DE MALAHIDE recalled that the Committee had previously decidedthat it would be premature to consider making any alteration in their recommendations on release of information to the E.D.C.
