SECRET 2. SECURITY SCREENING OF PERSONNEL POSTED ABROAD THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute by the Secretary+ covering a memorandum from the Air Ministry asking the Committee to consider the following questions:(a) Should all personnel be security screened before being drafted to German or, indeed, to any other Command overseas. (b) Should a ban be placed on the posting of undesirable persons to Germany or to any other Command overseas. MR. CAREY FOSTER said that the problem before them was a major question, and he felt that, in finding the answer to it, the views of the Security Service would be all important.
