THE COMMITTEE had before them minutes by the Secretary≠ covering memoranda from the Air Ministry, suggesting that automatic agreement should not be given to every journey which Soviet and Satellite officials in this country informed us they proposed to undertake. GROUP CAPTAIN MEARS said that the movements of our attaches in Iron Curtain countries were being considerably hampered.
