CONFIDENTIAL of it had, however, been deferred on the establishment of the Working Party on the Security of Atomic Energy.In discussion it was generally agreed that the work of the Working Party was mainly concerned with the classification of information on atomic energy for dissemination within official circles and its findings would hardly, therefore, affect the terms of the 'D' Notice. The Ministry of Supply should, therefore, be invited to circulate the draft Notice for consideration by the Security Sub-Committee and it could then probably be issued and only reviewed in the light of the Working Party's findings.
