In discussion it was noted that there was one special type of intelligence on which we might be able to assist the French. There were, however, certain restrictions of supplying such assistance which would need careful consideration. The question should be considered as a matter of urgency by the L.S.I.B. (Junior Board) and their findings reported direct to the Foreign Office by the following Wednesday, 10th December in order that they could be incorporated if necessary in the brief before the Foreign Secretary.
