SECRET 3. AD HOC INTELLIGENCE WORKING GROUP WASHINGTON, OCT 1952 (Previous reference: J.I.C. (52)99th Meeting, Minute 1 dated 11th September 1952) MAJOR GENERAL SHORTT said that his team was leaving for America on 29th September and that all briefs were required not later than 11.00 a.m. on Friday 26th September, 1952, though it would be acceptable if a few late papers were sent in the bag leaving on Monday, 29th September. Most of the briefs had already been completed and circulated but he would like the views of the Committee on certain points that might arise in the course of the talks.
