THE COMMITTEE had before them:(a) A minute by the Secretary+ covering a memorandum by the Chairman on the possible courses of action which might be followed in dealing with the Soviet Government's request for the return of the defector, Gregory Davidenko, in the light of the desirability of securing the release from Moscow of Mr. Bundock, against whom the Russians held certain charges.
