TOP SECRET (k) To retain the original paragraph 64, as amended in discussion and qualified by a footnote to indicate Air Ministry dissent. THE COMMITTEE:(1) Instructed the Joint Intelligence Staff to redraft the relevant parts of their draft report in the light of the discussion, and to circulate the redrafted paragraphs 53 65, so as to reach Departments first thing on the morning of Thursday, 4th September, 1952. (2) Agreed that Directors would notify the Secretary of their approval, or otherwise, of the redrafted parts by 12 Noon on Thursday, 4th September.
