THE COMMITTEE:(1) Instructed the Joint Intelligence Staff to redraft the relevant parts of their draft report in the light of the discussion, and to circulate the redrafted paragraphs 53 65, so as to reach Departments first thing on the morning of Thursday, 4th September, 1952. (2) Agreed that Directors would notify the Secretary of their approval, or otherwise, of the redrafted parts by 12 Noon on Thursday, 4th September.
