CONFIDENTIAL 3. CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED FROM N.A.T.O. AGENCIES FOR ONWARD TRANSMISSION SECURITY CONSIDERATIONS THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute by the Secretary+ covering a memorandum by the Admiralty drawing attention to certain difficulties which were being experienced arising from the requirement for onward transmission in the United Kingdom of packages received from N.A.T.O. agencies. In discussion it was suspected that the difficulties outlined by the Admiralty could in fact be overcome by ensuring that the normal Cosmic security regulations were enforced.
