CONFIDENTIAL 2. WORLD WIDE INTELLIGENCE ORGANISATION IN WAR (Previous reference: J.I.C.(52)64th Meeting, Minute 4 dated 11th June, 1952). THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute by the Secretaryø covering a Progress Report prepared by the Chairman of the Working Party which had been set up to prepare a report− on World Wide Intelligence Organisation in War. COMMANDER ADAMS said that, at the initial meetings of the Working Party, they had decided that the original terms of reference were open to rather broad interpretation, and they therefore agreed to restrict them to setting down the existing organisation of the U.K.
