TOP SECRET 4. CAMPAIGN STUDIES CONSEQUENT UPON THE COMPLETION OF THE REPORT ON GENERAL SOVIET STRATEGY (Previous reference: J.I.C.(52)55th Meeting, Minute 1 of 15th May, 1952). THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute by the Secretary* covering a memorandum by the Director of Naval Intelligence on the terms of reference for an appreciation on the composition and employment of Soviet, Satellite and Chinese maritime forces in the event of general war 1952-1955, together with draft terms if reference prepared by the Secretary, for reports on the employment of the Soviet armed forces in land campaigns, the employment of Soviet long range air force, and the employment of the Soviet maritime forces in the event of general war 1952-1955.
