3. THE PRODUCTION OF J.I.C. PAPERS. CONFIDENTIAL (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(52) 48th Meeting dated 1st May, 1952, Minute 2). THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute+ by the Secretary referring to a memorandumØ which set out the agreed procedure for the production of J.I.C. papers. After discussion, the COMMITTEE:(1) Agreed that the existing procedureØ was satisfactory and should be adhered to; (2) Reaffirmed their opinion that members of the Joint Intelligence Staff must be of the highest quality; (3) Agreed that, although there had been a very marked improvement in the form and substance of J.I.C.
