TOP SECRET 2. SOVIET STRATEGY IN THE EVENT OF GENERAL WAR, 1952-1955 (Previous references: J.I.C. (52) 13th March, 1952: 30th Meeting, Minute 1 dated J.I.C. (52) 32nd 19th March, 1952). Meeting, Minute 2 dated THE COMMITTEE resumed consideration of the Second Preliminary Draft of the report+ on Soviet Strategy in the event of General War. 1952-1955. THE CHAIRMAN said that the procedure that had been adopted in revising this draft had raised some important points of principle and organisation. He did not wish these to be discussed at the present meeting, but intended to raise them at a subsequent one.
