TOP SECRET 2. LIAISON BETWEEN INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES AND THE PRESS (Previous reference: J.I.C. (51) 129th Meeting, B (c) of 3rd December, 1951. THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute by the Secretaryø covering a minute by the Director of Military Intelligence, reporting advice which he had received from his Director of Public Relations on the proposal that the War Office should convene a working party to improve intelligence liaison between Intelligence Agencies and the Press, in the light of which he referred the matter for consideration by the Committee.
