SECRET 2. MIDDLE ARMS COORDINATION COMMITTEE THE COMMITTEE were informed that, in anticipation of instructions from the Chiefs of Staff, a letter from the B.J.S.M., Washington* on the Middle East Arms Coordination Committee had been referred to the Joint Planning Staff in consultation with the Joint Intelligence Committee, the Joint Administrative Planning Staff and the Ministry of Defence, for examination and report. The Joint Planning Staff wished to receive the comments of the Joint Intelligence Committee by Monday, so that the comments of Departments should be received by the Secretary later in the day, in order that they could be coordinated and passed to the Joint Planning Staff in time.
