TOP SECRET INTELLIGENCE IN HONG KONG THE COMMITTEE welcomed to their meeting Mr. J.F. Nicoll, lately Colonial Secretary, Hong Kong, and now Governor Designate of Singapore and Major General G.C. Evans, lately Commander, British Forces, Hong Kong, and invited them to give their views on the organisation of intelligence in Hong Kong. MR. NICOLL said that the Committee would recall that the Local Intelligence Committee, Hong Kong, had been set up following a visit by the Director General of the Security Service some years ago.
