SECRET step would be for the Security Service to bring up to date their report* of the 29th October, 1951, proposing measures to hamper their activities. If, however, restrictions were to be considered as retaliation for measures imposed behind the Iron Curtain, then the Committee as a whole were concerned. GROUP CAPTAIN MEARS said that the Air Ministry had welcomed the report by the Security Service and wished even to extend the scope of the terms of reference of the working party proposed in it.
