SECRET MR. LUKE said that Mr. O'Rourke from Kenya would be arriving for this purpose in the Canal Zone the following week. SIR JOHN SHAW said that he understood that General Robertson also had the idea of setting up an executive Police Force in the Canal Zone to take the place of the Egyptian Police. While this was not primarily an intelligence matter, such a force would be of assistance to the intelligence authorities. Mr. O'Rourke would, however, be able to advise on this point.
