SECRET 1. SCALE AND NATURE OF SOVIET AIRBORNE ATTACK ON THE U.K. AT SHORT NOTICE. THE COMMITTEE had before them a draft reportx on the scale and nature of Soviet airborne attack on the U.K. at short notice, which had been prepared on the instructions of the Prime Minister. The draft report was considered paragraph by paragraph and certain amendments were suggested and approved. THE COMMITTEE:Approved the draft report as amended in discussion and instructed the Secretary to submit it to the Chiefs of Staff.
