1 Jan 1951

SECRET COLONEL STONEY said that the War Office agreed that it was unnecessary for bilateral arrangements to be entered into for the preparation or for the furnishing of Combined Intelligence to any echelons of N.A.T.O. The War Office were, however, coming up against real difficulty over the passage upward of processed intelligence from B.A.O.R. to Allied Land Forces, Central Europe (A.L.F.C.E.) and laterally to the French Forces in Europe. A similar problem must be facing the American army in Germany (E.U.C.O.M.) Existing type B.A.O.R.
