SECRET 2. WARSAW COURIER SERVICE. (Previous reference: J.I.C.(51)46th Meeting, Minute 6 of 27th April, 1951.) THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute by the Secretary≠, covering a minute by the Foreign Office, pointing out the excessive cost of the Warsaw Courier Service as a King's Messenger service and asking whether the Service Departments derived sufficient value from it to justify them in contributing the difference between its total cost and the amount which the Foreign Office could reasonably be expected to pay.
