CAB 159/9 JIC(51)52nd m+9, itam 2+3 SECRET 3. PETROLEUM SITUATION IN A WAR BEGINNING IN 1954. U.S. J.I.C. 526/12 THE COMMITTEE had before them a report+ by the United States Joint Intelligence Committee on the "Petroleum Situation in a War beginning in 1954" and a minuteø by the Secretary covering comments thereon. THE COMMITTEE considered the comments paragraph by paragraph and, subject to certain amendments were in general agreement with them. THE COMMITTEE:(1) Took note, with interest, of the report by the United States Joint Intelligence Committee.
