TOP SECRET 3. FUTURE OF INTELLIGENCE DIVISION GERMANY. (Previous reference: J.I.C.(51)28th Meeting, Minute 1 dated 15th March, 1951). THE COMMITTEE considered a Minute by the Secretaryø covering a Minute by the Chairman, to which was attached draft terms of reference for the Joint Intelligence Staff on the future of the Intelligence Division, Control Division for Germany. MR. REILLY said that a meeting had recently been held at the Ministry of Defence attended by the Permanent Secretaries of the Ministry of Defence and the three Service Departments, the Chief Staff Officer to the Minister of Defence and representatives of the Foreign Office, to discuss the future of the Intelligence Division in Germany.
