TOP SECRET AIR VICE MARSHAL OGILVIE FORBES said that the P.V.O. organisation was elastic in so far as it was known. Provision was made for considerable reserves and he did not consider that it would have to call on aircraft from the air armies acting in support of the land armies. He agreed that this point should be further examined, however, and an additional 'Y' paragraph drafted to cover this point for inclusion in the report. He also undertook to clarify paragraph 51 of the report concerning the operational efficiency of the Tactical Air Force.
