TOP SECRET AIR COMMODORE WOOLLEY said that the J.I.B. agreed to the amendments proposed by the War Office but would point out that these were based on rough estimates of total availability of vehicles and conjectures about their allocation. He suggested that it was dangerous to say that the increased requirement for M.T. could not be made until 1953 and suggested that the paper should be amended to indicate the possibility of enough M.T. being available by the summer of 1952. Air Commodore Woolley produced draft amendments on the basis of the above remarks.
