3. COMBINED DISCUSSIONS ON GUIDED SECRET WEAPONS AND ELECTRONICS. (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(51) 2nd Meeting, Minute 3, of 4th January, 1951.) DR. BLOUNT recalled that the Committee had previously welcomed the suggestion that a combined study of guided weapons intelligence should take place with the Americans. He had now received a reply from his counterpart in the Central Intelligence Agency agreeing to such discussions and suggesting that electronics should also be included. That suggestion was welcomed since the Directorate of Scientific Intelligence had just completed a full study of electronics in the Soviet Union.
