3. REVIEW OF THE SITUATION ROUND THE TOP SECRET SOVIET AND SATELLITE PERIMETER. (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(51) 5th Meeting, Minute 4 of 11th January, 1951). THE COMMITTEE had their weekly discussion to review the situation round the Soviet and Satellite perimeter to ascertain whether there were any new indications of Soviet or Soviet inspired aggressive moves. Western Sector Two passenger ships of the Soviet Baltic Steamship Company which had hitherto plied between London and Libau in the winter months, when Leningrad was frozen up, had now been routed to the winter port of Ventspils.
