RESTRICTED Intelligence Committee should have a constitutional right to communicate direct on intelligence matters with the Joint Intelligence Committee, London. MR. MARNHAM said than in the light of this information, it would be appreciated if the matter could be given further consideration in the Colonial Office before a reply was sent to Gibraltar. THE COMMITTEE:(1) Task note, with interest, of the intelligence summary prepared by the Local Intelligence Committee, Gibraltar, and instructed the Secretary, subject to Colonial Office approval, to inform the Governor of Gibraltar of their views accordingly.
