2. HISTORY OF THE INTERROGATION OF PRISONERS OF WAR FROM RUSSIA RESTRICTED (Previous Reference: J.I.C.(50) 117th Meeting, Minute 5) THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute+ by the Secretary covering a letter from the Directorate of Scientific Intelligence to which was attached a minute from the Scientific and Technical Intelligence Branch, Germany, setting out the object of the proposed history of the interrogation of prisoners of war from Russia and listing the London Agencies who required it. In discussion, it was generally agreed that no useful purpose could be served in the preparation of a history of the interrogation of prisoners of war from Russia since the situation was most unlikely to repeat itself in the future and that the history would be of very little use to Departments in this country.
