3. PRIORITIES FOR AUSTRALIAN SECRET INTELLIGENCE SURVEYS. (Previous References: J.I.C.(49) 17th Meeting, Minute 2, and J.I.C.(49) 17). THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute+ by the Secretary stating that, in anticipation of the instructions of the Chiefs of Staff, a copy of a letterfrom the United Kingdom Service Liaison Staff in Australia to the Secretary, Chiefs of Staff Committee covering a report by the Joint Intelligence Committee, Australia, on the subject of priorities for Australian Intelligence Surveys had been referred to the Joint Intelligence Committee for examination and report.
