2. THREAT TO HONG KONG. CONFIDENTIAL THE COMMITTEE had before them a minute+ by the Secretary covering a note by the Joint Intelligence Staff, examining a reportby the Hong Kong Local Intelligence Committee on the threat to Hong Kong. In discussion, there was general agreement with the remarks contained in the note by the Joint Intelligence Staff.
